Rising majestically from the Pacific coast and bordering Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile, Peru has a humid tropical climate. 60% of it’s land area located within the Amazon basin fed by the mountain rivers of the Andes.

We focused much of our attention on the Penachi region, about 100 miles inland from the Pacific coast at an elevation of 1500 MASL in the Andes mountain jungle separating Peru from Equador where the Penachi coffee is grown by people with a traditional Inca Indian culture.

Coffee from Peru is mellow and sweetly aromatic with smooth milk and dark chocolate notes.
