More Information

Full Bodied / Earthy Spice

The closest Indonesian island to mainland Asia and the largest producer of coffee in Indonesia.

Our 2015 trip focused on the region around Lake Toba and the village of Lae Mungkur, in the Sidikalang district of Northern Sumatra, an area famous for its coffee due to its ideal climatic conditions.

The triple sorted coffee we found is a wonderful example of the quality that exists here, full bodied, earthy and spicey.
